Ehrlich “Firechill” Ocampo is a performer who dances with various props and fire and light such as poi, hoop, and his specialty – the “levitation wand”. Discovering dance during his college years in art school, and discovering the flow arts or object manipulation arts after his studies, he has trained to become a proficient stage performer as a circus artist. His passion for the arts bled out into performing for the theater stage.

Looking to transcend his stage performances, he ventured into more artistic expression with his circus skills by pioneering “Flow Art Show” in 2014, and later on participating in FringeMNL in 2015 and 2016. He has also presented an artistic circus performance in the World Festival of the Circus of Tomorrow (Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain) in Paris, France on January 2016.

Since then, he has been exploring and deepening his movement style, and has produced a body of videos documenting these explorations. He has also delved into using words in his expression, incorporating spoken word into his performances, as well as writing a short book.

He is inspired by dreams, nature, and flying, and is looking forward to producing more artistic work during his stay on earth.
